Aloha
We got back two weeks ago from a fabulous vacation to Hawaii. For the past few years we’ve planned on taking a vacation (other than our mission trips to Jamaica) but we just haven’t had the opportunity. This year was perfect timing and we figured it may be our last chance for awhile.
We flew into Oahu and stayed in Waikiki for 3 days before heading to Maui for 5 days. It was absolutely a perfect vacation!! Now, I have to admit the trip getting there was extremely long, but well worth it. On Oahu we visited Pearl Harbor which was breathtaking and humbling, watched surfers, swam with sea turtles, climbed Diamond Head and drove around the island in a jeep. There was tons to do on Oahu and I wish we’d had another day to take it all in but I’m glad we ended the trip on Maui because it was definetly more relaxing. In Maui, we had great snorkeling right in front of our hotel so each day we would spend half of the day at the beach and the other half lounging by the pool. While we were in Maui we took in a traditional Luau and drove up to Haleakala, a 10,000 foot tall dormant volcano. There were quite a few things that we wanted to do but pregnant women weren’t allowed so I guess we’ll just have to go back!

If you’ve never been to Hawaii, I highly recommend adding it to your list of places to visit!!!
Gorgeous! This is definitely on my “places to go” list!
Isn’t Hawaii amazing?? I went with my family in high school… Nate has never been and he is dying to go one day! You’ll have to visit Kawaii on your next trip… I still think Maui was my favorite though!! Gorgeous pics!!! You look great and so glad you had a fabulous time!
Aww so beautiful!! Glad you had a great time! Whew makes me want to go back really bad!!!
thanks hawaii… now, pretty much every awesome place we visit henceforth will be tagged with “…but it’s no hawaii.”
