It’s really hard to believe that my maternity leave is over and I’m already back to work. The past 12 weeks went by way too quickly! I knew it was going to be difficult to put Jaxen in daycare, but thankfully we know he’s being taken great care of. Everyone at his daycare has been super nice, the facilities are wonderful and they’ve got a great curriculum so we’ve felt good with our decision.

Dropping my baby off and leaving him with people who are practically strangers was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I knew that he would be fine, but I wasn’t sure how I would do since I’d gotten so used to spending the entire day with my precious little man. I still miss him terribly, but it is getting easier each day. He is having so much fun meeting new friends and he completely wears himself out. His teachers tell us that he’s a social butterfly and quite the ladies man….just like his daddy already : )
